Throughout this past year and a half, I've been working my way through my collection of books. Taking a break from the A Song of Ice and Fire series I decided to re-read J. R. R. Tolkien's The Hobbit. Thorin Oakenshield's last words are a much-needed reminder to realign my perspective on life.
"If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world."
I think it'll still be some time before I return to Westeros; I will move onto Genevieve Gornichec's The Witch's Heart next. One can always use more Loki in their life.
