Welcome! This tour covers the origins of Ric-Olzow, the projects that have made it to release, and a bit of information about the man behind the RO name himself: Eric Riccy.
Enjoy!
Area 1
Friendly Foundations
Left - Image frame to represent a friend group photo. Close friends were the pivotal driving force in the experimentation with and learning of music-making, animation and game design technologies.
Middle - Internetwork (IN) Logo. The bands are meant to be red and blue, and represented interconnectivity.
Right - Computer to represent the Fail-Compy; an underpowered computer made of hand-me-down parts that served as the main computer that RO content would be made on.
Though the Internetwork often gets the more so citation in RO's origin story, The Olzow Bros Productions, it's successor, was actually equally if not more important, as the OBP took the creative origins of IN and refined it, leading to more released animations and the games that RO/Eric Riccy touts about to this day.
Most of the RO content that exists has been digital media. When the Fail-Compy ultimately became irreparable, it was scrapped and turned into the Linux machine. All RO creation was moved to a laptop, as the Linux machine was not suitable for working on in the capacity needed. This fact would play into the RO Development Hell Phase.
How can we talk about RO without mentioning New City? Moving away is a surefire way to make creating art with your friends tougher. Despite that, friends continued to fly out and visit Eric Riccy, which was key to the OBP forming.
The friendships of Hometown were so strong that soon Eric Riccy would be looking to leave New City. This led to the 1000 Day Countdown, which was a countdown event named for that eventual return.

The Next Jenny-eration
Left - The first RO logo animation was created in early 2011. The namesake up until this point was to represent Eric Riccy, on the website (Newgrounds) where the Internetwork and OBP content was being published.
Right - In September 2009, amid a blog craze, The Paper Train Express was created. Wait, where have I heard that before...?
Left - Doll representing Amy Raasolae, a character who first appeared* in a Birthday card animation.
Right - Doll representing Jenny Boliparte, a character who first appeared* in a risque animation meant to tease expectant adult nature.
Both characters were developed in a renewed interest in drawing, caused by the move and by the momentum of creativity from the IN and OBP.
*Based on published animations and available data.
Center - Doll representing Taylor Poshibole, a character who first appeared* in Jenny's Quiz.
Taylor's design was brought about by a friend challenging Eric Riccy to design a character with hair 'over' the eye. This friend was pivotal to the writing of Animanga-R, an unpublished comic book that centered around the characters of RO.
As of writing this, there are no plans to have it published.

Pictures/Cork-board representing the drawings of RO characters and logos.
Entire notebooks have been filled of drawings, and most education materials around this time period (2009-2011) were littered with drawings.
The space that was occupied by the FailCompy and later the Linux Machine was known as 'Base 50', which was to be the studio space for content production.
Following the end of the 1000 Days countdown, Eric Riccy returned to Hometown. At this point the Failcompy was still alive and well. In the initial years of university, friends there helped encourage the creation of Jenny's Quiz, a full-scale 70 question quiz game. This would be the third and final installment in what would come to be known as the 'Jenny Series' Trilogy: Jenny's Show, Jenny's Game, and Jenny's Quiz.
Interestingly, based on stats collected over time, the 2nd installment, Jenny's Game, would prove to be the most popular.
Area 3
Welcome to Development Hell
Following HS graduation, University would challenge Eric Riccy, leading to a re-return to New City, the change of computers, the migration of projects, and the entrance of a host of new problems that could not be so simply solved.Left - Certificate representing Eric Riccy's Graduation from HS and later University.
Right - Map representing the continued moves.
Left - A doll representing Mythri, a character that has so far been introduced exclusively on the Paper Train Express. The game she was planned to appear in is the only project since Jenny's Quiz that made it to the demo/prototype phase, not counting projects made specifically for University classes.
Right - A T-shirt with the RO logo, and the 'Ric head', a symbol that is used to represent RO content.
This concludes the Tour
