Solution of the Lost Color

I said I would figure out the mystery, and I did!
So my old PS2 has no issues and never did, but now I own two PS2s. Oh well. (The newer one can do multi-tap so that'll be handy...once I get a multi-tap...)

The Wii works as well and has no color issues, and the cords been taped up to try to preserve it. (It's molded so can't be re-soldered, but it's still connected fully just the molding is shredded, so I taped over the molding so that it wouldn't tear more.)

So now you may be wondering what actually happened then. Well, the consoles can't be the problem if they can go back and forth with having and not having color. There's a RCA splitter but when the Wii went colorless it was circumvented and found not to be the problem.
The only connecting issue? The TV.
The female heads for the RCA in the back seem to be faulty, and occasionally fail in the way of making the picture lose color.
The only solution aside from replacing the TV is either fiddling with the heads til color is restored, or letting the TV 'cool down' (Which has been the working approach so far.)
Such is life.

But at least, it works! And mystery solved.
