I got steak on the cheap recently, but I've never cooked it before.
A wiser version of me would've taken note to all the things my parents do when they cook it. But so far I'm stuck on the first step.
I didn't realize how hard steak could freeze. I knew to preserve it, freezing was the way to go. But I was going to cook it for dinner tonight.
I'M HAVING STEAK FOR BREAKFAST TOMORROW MAYBE
or lunch.
or my evening will be centered around attempting to cook steak.
So abridged version: If ya gonna have steak, give it like a day to thaw apparently.
